An event is to be held for just the third time in August, on the island of Ulleung, off the east coast. The price seems to include transport to the island, accomodation and food, and possibly a visit to the nearby islet of Dokdo, although this is yet to be confirmed. More information here, and still more to follow on our own site here, as soon as it is available.
Registration for the Jeju Ironman and 70.3 events have closed.
These events are on the same date as the KTF Olympic-length event in Seokcho, at the other end of the country, near the DMZ and on the east coast. Registration for this closes on Thursday, 23rd of June.
Mokpo Ironman and Olympic length events are still open for registration until Friday, July 22nd. The date for these events is Sunday, August 21st.
The other major change to the previously reported schedule for the calendar includes the month of October, which now sees a total of three Olympic length events available around the country… of which we’re aware at this stage… .
